Ah... see that's never good.

so, yesterday i was playing an old but gold game called Mount and Blade Warband,
when suddenly, my pc crashed.
well i thought it did.
after checking through it, making sure my power supply was fine, making sure my cables were all plugged in, my dad told me my hard drive had died.
pity really, all my minecraft stuff and skins was on there.
luckily i had moved all 2gb of my music onto my (F:) drive, which is now called D after getting a new drive from my dad, and re installing windows.
i have all my games, and music. but all my pictures are gone, and so is my minecraft, thus i must now update. i have no drivers except my graphics drivers.
so yeah, just thought i'd tell you all why i'm not on TechCraft.

I have a backup server in my house that backs up every 60 minutes thanks to OSX.

Anyway, that's fine I'm glad you've told me that.

1.3.1 shouldn't be too long now as it seems it's going very smoothly with minor issues.

That is a sad story, Con... Is there any way for you to download old versions of minecraft?

Considering our backup server goes through all our machines in our house it has quite a hefty amount of space... A few TB.

Also, myself, I don't use much hard drive space on my laptop & computer so I don't even make up 100GB.

Yes, there is.
but... i think i'll take this time to just listen to my nightcores, and dungeoneer.

Well on that note, this is the time when not many people are on TechCraft due to people not backing up their minecraft, or because of what happened to Con. (or some other random reason)

You forgot a very big thing on why other people aren't here... You forgot "holiday" you silly person.

Mriheel, no, just a hard drive failure.
thankfully, replacing a machine like i have would cost near £700.
700 quid that i don't have.
