TC 1 Server died

The server that TechCraft 1 is on has died. Luckily I was on it and it died about 3 minutes after Børre logged on (Suspicious).

Anyway, I'm looking into the issue to see if it's hardware related and if it is, it might be a quick fix. If it looks like it's going to take a while, I'll move it onto another server hopefully with the same ip but it might be a bit slower.

Sorry, I'm really annoyed with Børre right now.

I don't need any parts, we're a computer junk yard here. Even for very old processors, we don't know how to throw it away. We have plenty of other servers and hard disks. The problem is recovering 2 corrupted disks that died at the same time. The primary disk and the backup disk, I have a backup of TC 1 on my laptop from 20th Sept 2012.

Hopefully we'll get the data off the Hard disks before we wipe and see if it's anything more than a corrupt.

Edit: Both disks are dead and there's a 0% chance of getting any data off it. New disks will be put in place with a 3rd backup data disk that's not inside the machine and won't do an instant backup. Also, with that I will be doing a full TC 1 Backup on my laptop to make sure of it.

4 disks is fine right?

Currently moving TechCraft to the new disk, should be up tonight (hopefully)!

Yet again I'm really sorry for this. You've lost everything you've done since 20th Sept 2012.

Once the server's up I'll work on porting it to 1.4.6.

Edit: The most of it is up, some things are broken and I'm working on it.

All staff are whitelisted as there are a few security issues, a few normal users are whitelisted too.

Once I get everything working on 1.4.5 Bukkit RB1 I'll start on 1.4.6 planning for it all to be done before Christmas eve.

It isn't as bad as I thought it would be. I find it amusing that it says I've played for 110 days

Before the server died, it said I had played for 10 - 20 days.

Server no longer whitelist and on 1.4.6. Still working on getting things ironed out but for the most part, it working again.

Permissions are all fuzzily so I'll try to get that working when I can. I'm taking a break now.
