Watcher CMD's

How to obtain this rank. Either done the staff app or have been chosen by us.

still reckon watchers should be able to turn invisible.
if this is a CMD topic, shouldn't it be locked? Theres no point in people posting on these, if they have questions, they can be asked in game, or through pm on the site?

Sure, lock them. I don't think invisible will be very good.

Reasons:

1. Bukkit never finished the vanish API (It means 80% you'll be invisible)
2. Modded clients can bypass the vanish API (Most of them do)
3. People with the insvisible command will abuse it (Especially if 12 year olds can have this rank)
4. You can forget to make yourself visible again and no one will know if you've left or joined
5. I don't want to make everyone on the server feel like their being watched all the time (Only you get watched 24/7 Con, by Axe)

I'm sure I have more reasons but that's what is in my head right now.

by, invisible, i meant appearing online, but litterally invisible, wouldn't there be a way YOU could do it?

i started my modding by the way, i understand a little more, but until Ellen comes online, and i feel bored, i shant try again XD

You can't and I mean can't add-on to bukkit. I can't go and make a new vanish API. Bukkits one works but it has an 80% chance.

Also the bukkit API only allows appearing offline if invisible is enabled. I'm limited to what I can do. You can't be invisible but online.

I'm confused about this rank. You said done the app or are chosen by us. Does that mean that this rank is considered as part of the staff? If so, why isn't it included anywhere in the TechCraft Staff thing you put up here: http://www.techmoddedzombies.com/h1-techcraft-staff

Is the watcher rank below or higher than basic-mod? because if its below it then shouldn't basic-mod have tp too?

Considering 12 year olds can get 'Watcher' it's lower than B-Mod. Yes, B-Mod can /tp but not /tphere as that's for Moderator +.

do they have Spawning capabilities, i was wondering this yesterday night.

i mean i know they don't have spawning commands, but should they? all staff do.

Read the main post. It says "Helper CMD's".

Because they have a watcher command and not a "come here and see"

That would get rid of the name 'Watcher' if you're going to watch someone you don't need 'tphere'.
